James Burtrom
Occupational Therapy Assistant
I have been working in Occupational Therapy for eight years. I’ve done everything from geriatrics to home health and am now doing pediatrics. I have eight children ranging from twenty-three to seven years old, and I have two grandchildren who are two and three. I received my associate’s degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from Arkansas Tech and have been blessed to work with RSPT and had the opportunity to receive different certifications to continue growing as a therapist and provide services to kiddos that are evidence-based and client-centered.
There are so many things about Occupational therapy that are incredibly rewarding, including seeing kids’ smiling faces when they meet a goal or complete a task for the first time. It is life-changing for them, and it is day-changing for me.
